In the kitchen

Ok, so thought I would be a wonder mom and make all my own baby food! Haha, so what happens when baby doesn't love mamma's cooking?! (obviously my baby is unaware of the thought and love I put into to mashing those sweet potatoes!!!). Anyways, found some creative tools to making sure he eats, when the "airplane" technique doesn't work...but did it ever?!

1. I would pretend to feed all the invisible people around him, and then he would grab for the spoon. He was 8months at this time, and onlookers might have thought I was crazy...so good thing there aren't onlookers in your kitchen!

2. Ice cube trays. This only works for food that can be picked up. He was 10months at this time. He use to hide his food in the Giant red MegaBlok that he would carry around...my little squirrel! MegaBloks are hard to clean, especially from mashed meats and cheeses, so thus...the ice cube tray. Dishwasher safe, and disposable if...you know.

Xo Good luck!
